On 29 August 2024, the high-level workshop on “Developing Climate Investment Project Pipelines in Cambodia”, is part of the Climate Invest initiative of United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), in partnership with Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC), was held at Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The event was presided by H.E. Sou Socheat, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director-General of SERC, Ms. Denna Morris, Economic Affairs Officer in the Macroeconomic Policy and Financing for Development Division of the UNESCAP and government stakeholders, project owners, financiers, and other stakeholders committed to integrating sustainable business in Cambodia.

The panelist from RGPPSP, Mr. Fong Nee Wai, Chief Financial Officer, joined the discussion and share insights on the opportunities and challenges in increasing flows of finance to green projects, and shared experience and knowledge in sustainable finance and what best practices have been leveraged in Cambodia.
