After months of preparation, with a lot of cooperation and support from a lot of partners, we managed to bring back our colorful annual Khmer New Year event, this year under the name “Sangkranta PPSEZ 2019”. This sixth annual event was conducted on Saturday night of March 30^th, 2019. Around 30,000 people attended the event, not just only at the concert area, but also at various shopping, food and beverage booths and amusement area.

 This event is aimed not only at bringing entertainment to everyone, but also at giving chance to our workers to showcase their other abilities beside their daily work. That is why beside performances of famous pop singers such as Ms. Meas Sok Sophea, Khmeng Khmer boy band, and Perk Mee comedian group, we also had the final round of selection for our talent contest. 

It has become our tradition to involve a lot of workers working in Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (PPSEZ) in a competition to find a hidden talented boys and girls. This year, to everyone’s surprise, our top 10 contestants displayed a very wide range of talents from singing to the modern street dancing and the cool rapping, and professional-level royal ballet dance. 

After a tough selection process, we could find our talented winners: Ms. Thay Layseang, an operator of SVI (AEC) Company Limited, and Mr. Thoun Sokha, an operator of Taiyo Kogyo (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. Very Big Congratulations to the Winners.

 The event has just ended, but we already start to look forward to the next year event.
