Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. has been aware of the importance of Board of Directors of the listed company and brought in The Thai Institute of Directors Association (Thai IOD) for 2-day training program in Cambodia.
Phnom Penh, 17-18 October 2018 – Phnom Penh SEZ Plc.(PPSP) co-organized Director Foundation Program with Thai IOD. 2-day intensive training program was held at Rosewood Phnom Penh, Vattanac Capital Tower. This program was participated by the board of directors, senior management from PPSP, LCH Group and our business partners, together with participants from the peer listed companies, Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX), and Securities Exchange Commission of Cambodia.
The training was composed of 4 modules including 1) The Making of Effective Board and Role of Independent Directors 2) Legal Implication of Directorship 3) Board Leadership in Risk and Strategy Agenda and 4)Corporate Governance (CG) New Trends and How to Raise CG Standards. The training was conducted by experienced facilitators from Thai IOD led by Dr. Bandid Nijathaworn, President of Thai IOD and ex-deputy governor of Bank of Thailand. PPSP did expect the knowledge adaptation by the Boards and Managements to drive sustainable growth, under resilient risk management and CG practice.
Thai-IOD a non-profit organization dedicated to improving director professionalism and corporate governance in Thailand.
