Cambodia’s leading industrial estate financed, constructed gravel road in Tropang Chhouk Village
Phnom Penh, 22nd December 2018 –
On Saturday, December 22nd 2018, the inauguration ceremony of a newly repaired gravel road was carried out under the presidency of Mr. Khim Son Soda, Deputy Governor of Khan Posenchey and Mr. Hiroshi Uematsu, CEO of Phnom Penh SEZ Plc.
The gravel road (M30) with the width of 4.5 m, length of 900 m, and thickness of 0.1 m, costing USD 10500, was constructed in Tropang Chhouk Village, Sangkat Kantouk, Khan Posenchey, Phnom Penh, under the 10th Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR project of Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. Its aim is to ease the people’s daily travel in community, and to keep the surrounding environment clean.
Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. have been conducting the similar CSR activities since 2009 for the surrounding communities. There have been various projects on construction of school libraries, road embankment backfill, toilets, and gravel road etc.
We highly hope the contribution would assist and improve people’s living better.
