The Poipet flagship of Phnom Penh
SEZ, Plc., a leading Special Economic Zone (SEZ) developer in Cambodia, has
signed Industrial Estate Agency Agreements with a local subsidiary of Toyota
Tsusho Corporation to strengthen business development and marketing activities.

Co.,Ltd, the developer/operator of Poi Pet PP SEZ, achieved a key milestone by signing
Industrial Estate Agency Agreement with Techno Park Poi Pet Pvt Co., Ltd.
("TPO"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation
(TOYOTA TSUSHO). This is a key milestone for TOYOTA TSUSHO to tap into the
industrial estate agency service in Cambodia.
As a member of the Toyota Group,
TOYOTA TSUSHO has a worldwide presence through its many subsidiaries and
operating divisions, including over 150 offices, and 900 subsidiaries and
affiliates around the world with diverse business portfolio. Since 1998, TOYOTA
TSUSHO has gained a foothold in operating and managing rental factories mainly
within Southeast Asia. Currently, they have techno park business which can
provides an array of administrative services such as local support for company
establishment, canteen and commuter bus services for employees, and supporting
services for accounting and finance.
TPO was established at Poipet in May
2015 with the registered capital of 3.01 million USD. With the range of services,
TPO aims to support Japanese companies, who target to expand their business in
Cambodia and to pivotally support Cambodia’s industrialization. Currrenly, TPO
also has rental property with total of 7,200 m2 of floor area under management.
Apart from the services under techno park business, the agreement also covers land
sales agency service where Poipet PPSEZ Co.,Ltd, can lever on the well-established
business network of TOYOTA TSUSHO.
Poi Pet PP SEZ is a Special Economic
Zone (SEZ), developed and operated under Poipet PPSEZ Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. it is located in Banteay Meanchey Province,
Northwestern Cambodia neighboring the Cambodia-Thai Border. It is approximately
8 Km East of the Poipet city center, with access to one of the key border
crossing point with Thailand in the northwest of Cambodia. With the
“Thailand+1” development policy, Poipet is geographically attractive to
prospective investors who are looking for starting new upstream manufacturer,
warehouse, or distribution center. It is only 230 km or 4 hours away from
Bangkok, Thailand. Strategically, it is located with direct access to National
