On Friday 6 May 2022, Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone had the great honour to welcome the local study trip organized by Cambodia-Australia Agricultural Value Chain (CAVAC), participated by members of the Committee for Coordinating the Development of Agri-Food Industrial Park in Cambodia, who are representatives from various government institutions such as the Supreme National Economic Council (SNEC), Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), and Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) etc.
The committee was officially established on 29 November 2021 by SNEC. And this visit is one agenda of the 2-day trips to visit four existing parks in Cambodia from 6 to 7 May 2022 organized by CAVAC, under the project “Feasibility study for establishment the Agri-food Industrial Park (AIP)” to learn challenges and opportunities of operating industrial parks in Cambodia.
After Ms. Zhao Minqian, General Manager for Operation, expressed a warm welcome to the delegates, an active discussion and Q&A session was conducted. Finally, the visit was wrapped up with a tour around the zone to give delegates some insight about the actual development and the facilities and services we provide to our customers.
It was a short but fruitful site study visit, and we are happy to give full support for such program. We expect more and more programs like this to come after the governments around the world start to open borders and people start to live with the new norm.
