Honorable visit of H.E Zaghloul Samhan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Delegates from Palestine to RGPPSEZ

On two consecutive days 26 and 27 February 2025, we were honored to welcome the visit of H.E Zaghloul Samhan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Delegates from Palestine to Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (RGPPSEZ).

The visit was one of the agenda of the Delegation 5-day learning mission in Cambodia, organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), engaging representatives from the Palestine Ministry of Industry, Palestinian Industrial Estates & Free Zones Authority (PIEFZA), Palestinian Investment Promotion Authority (PIPA) and Jericho Agro-Industrial Park Company (JAIPCO). The purpose of this mission was to enhance knowledge and technical capabilities of relevant Palestinian institutions and stakeholders for advancing sustainable and inclusive industrial development.

The management and staffs of RGPPSEZ were excited to meet and greet the group of delegates. After some introduction and information sharing in the RGPPSEZ office, we then proceeded to visit Bok Seng PPSEZ Dry Port, Toyota (Cambodia) training and logistics center, and RGPPSEZ infrastructure facilities. On the second day, the delegation was presented with our company’s operation by our representatives from various departments, along with another site visit to Gomi Recycle (Phnom Penh), a solid waste management company in our zone. In addition, the delegation was also able to meet the representative government officials from our One Stop Service Center.

We felt honored and proud to be included in the agenda. We hope that the delegation has learned some good practices and examples from RGPPSEZ and are able to apply it to their industrial park projects in Palestine. We have confidence that the relationship between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the State of Palestine will become stronger, which will create more chances for collaboration and business opportunities.
