Workshop on Promoting Banteay Meanchey Province as a Destination for Local and Foreign Direct Investment

On 5 May 2022, in collaboration with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), Royal Group Poipet SEZ joined workshop on promoting Banteay Meanchey Province as a destination for local and foreign direct investment with 30 participants from Banteay Meanchey Provincial Hall, industrial sectors, and small enterprises.

His Excellency Ly Sary, Deputy Governor, highly representing His Excellency Um Reatrey, the Governor of Banteay Meanchey province, gave opening speech by mentioning about potential points of the province for investors, and urged the local business to compete fairly. His Excellency also encouraged the young entrepreneurs to be self-empowered first in order to show and attract more international investors to come into the province.

Mr. UEMATSU Hiroshi, CEO of Royal Group Poipet SEZ, presented about overview of the zone, and showed the products of our first investor to the participants. He also explained about the requirements of international companies and investors to His Excellency Ly Sary in order to gain more cooperation and support from the government.

It was a very fruitful meeting, and we are confident that more and more investors both local and international will look at Banteay Meanchey Province as another destination for their investments.
