On 31 March 2022, Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (RGPPSEZ) had the great honour to welcome the visit of delegates from more than 20 companies from Cambodia, China, Myanmar, and Vietnam organized by Mekong Institute.

Mr. Uematsu Hiroshi, CEO of the company, expressed a warm welcome to the delegates saying that it was the first big size visit after the COVID-19 pandemic period. A representative from Liwayway (Cambodia), a food processing company in the zone also joint the event to give their company introduction with us. The visit was wrapped up with a bus tour around the zone to give delegates some insight about the actual development and the facilities and services we provide to our customers.

This visit is one of the agendas of the 3^rd Lancang-Mekong Business Forum 2022 organized by Mekong Institute on 30 – 31 March 2022, under the topic “Promoting Agribusiness and Investment in Processed Food Sector”. The Business Forum is part of a long-term project funded by the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Special Fund (LMCSF) of the Chinese government.

It was a short but fruitful site visit. And we expect more and more events like this to come after the governments around the world start to open borders and people start to live with the new norm.
