On Saturday, June 02, 2018, Phnom Penh SEZ’s Managements and Staffs, together with other companies under LCH Investment Group, participated in voluntary blood donation program at Kantha Bopha hospital.
On Thursday, February 08th, 2018 at the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), Mr. Tsunehiro Takahashi, General Manager for Business Development of Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. presented a scholarship award to ten RUPP’s natural science students. This award is equivalent to the amount of 5,000 USD per year, and it will be offered for four years starting from 2018 until 2021 to support students’ learning programs at RUPP.
In collaboration with the Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) – (TPA) an organization based in Bangkok and has more than 40 years’ experience in providing training services and with the Japan-Thailand Economic Cooperation Society – (JTECS) was established in 1972 in Tokyo, Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. conducted its the two-day Pre-Job Training Program on June 20-21, 2018 at Phnom Penh SEZ (PPSEZ)’s training room with 18 participants from various factories inside the zone.
On May 25th, 2018 at Phnom Penh SEZ (PPSEZ)’s meeting hall, the representative from the MoLVT based in PPSEZ, Mr. Pol Chandara provided updates to 74 participants from different companies inside the zone.
In the morning of January 29th, 2018, Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. was honored to witness the Grand Opening Ceremony of Walita Toys (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., a new Chinese company producing toys which we are proud and delighted to have in our zone.
On May 09th, 2018, Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. witnessed another new start of a brand new investment. This time, adding to the diversity of businesses in Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone, Tokyo Hotel Apartments & Spa will provide accommodation services to customers in both forms, as serviced apartment and as hotel. Facilities such as restaurant, meeting room, gym, hot bath and sauna, laundry room, etc. are provided, so customers can enjoy the stay in a relaxing atmosphere with Japanese-styled services.
