Phnom Penh SEZ launches national recruitment campaign offering thousands of job opportunities
Introduces plans for medical facilities, additional dormitories
Phnom Penh, Cambodia – Phnom Penh SEZ has today launched a national effort to promote a range of job opportunities at Cambodia’s leading special economic zone. With an improved outlook on the economy for the coming years, support by favorable export access to a variety of world markets and a comparably low wage level within the region, Phnom Penh SEZ has seen an enormous surge in global interest in this modern industrial park on the outskirts of the Cambodian capital.
The Jetro seminar in Bangkok was organized to promote investment in the emerging markets of Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar (CLM). The seminar focused on the opportunities and the challenges Special Economic Zones are facing, and on their increasingly relevant role for economic growth in the CLM markets. 200 participants from Japanese companies such as manufacturers, banks, logistics and the media are proof for the rising interest in this safe and convenient industrial concept, which is pioneered by Phnom Penh SEZ on the outskirts of Phnom Penh.
