Flood Donation in Battambang Province

PPSEZ management had arranged PPSEZ’s staff to Ek Phnom District to distribute PPSEZ’s Flood Donation to 30 families (at Ek Phnom District Office). The deputy chief of Ek Phnom District, Mr. Suon Sarun, gave a speech to his villagers and thanked PPSEZ for this valued and honest flood donation.

The Third National Career Fair 2013 held at Koh Pich Convention Center in Phnom Penh

The 3th National Career Fair 2013 was presided over by H.E. Pich Sophoan. There were 43 companies including enterprises, educational organizations, and NGOs attending in the event. Amount about 2000 people participated in this two-day event, most of whom were students. Whereas PPSEZ’s booth, there were 467 participants visiting and asking for information related to career opportunities in our zone.

Opening Ceremony of DENSO (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.

DENSO Cambodia had opening ceremony of its rental factory on 17th September with the presence of His Excellency Sok Chenda Sophea, Minister attached to the Prime Minister.  Simultaneously DENSO announced to build its own plant on 10 ha land to be operational in 2015.  DENSO emphasizes ‘MONODUKURI is from HITOZUKURI’, which means ‘Manufacturing is based on human resources development’.

Study Tour of Students from Sakura Human Training to PPSEZ

On July 25th, 2013, there were 130 students accompanied by 8 instructors from Sakura Human Training conducting a study tour in Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone.

Sakura Human Training is a Japanese company providing courses of Japanese language for business purpose at some educational institutions such as National University of Management (NUM), National Institute of Business (NIB), and NGO ALC COMMUNICATIONS etc. The 130 students are from those institutions.

The purpose of the study tour is to give young students motivation to learn Japanese language by providing them with the opportunity to see the working environment in some Japanese companies in PPSEZ as well as to listen to the experience and ideas of the local staffs and foreign expatriates about working in Japanese companies.


Students were given a chance to visit Minebea (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., Clean Circle Co., Ltd., and Sumi (Cambodia) Wiring System Co., Ltd. where they were given some explanation about the companies’ profiles, working conditions, policies etc. They also had a chance to have a tour around the factories to see by themselves how the factories operate and what it is like to work for a Japanese company.


PPSEZ staffs conducted a brief guide around the zone to show the development of the area into the present industrial zone. PPSEZ always welcome such visit to enhance the knowledge to students showing them the
growth of our project and encouraging the students to be a part of the development.
