Job Description

Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. was incorporated and registered in the Kingdom of Cambodia as a private limited liability company with commercial registration no. Inv. 1076KH/2006 dated 10 May 2006 and was later on converted into a public limited company which was approved by the authority on 7 July 2015. Phnom Penh SEZ Plc., the leading industrial zone developer and operator in Cambodia, is seeking a qualified Cambodian national for the position of Recruitment Assistant to be based in Phnom Penh SEZ. 

Job Requirement

I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To provide recruitment related to support, advice and counsel to tenants through effective management of HR key process and recruitment of high quality staff and workers to help meet company business objectives and tenants requirement.

II. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the role of recruitment with respect to the company’s business objectives
  • Assist the Customer Service Recruitment team in the administrative work
  • Assist in following up the recruitment needs from the tenants of PPSEZ
  • Make monthly plan to go to provinces for recruitment purpose
  •  Design map or official documents for tenants if necessary
  • Assist in preparing and distributing HR related to communication
  • Assist in updating the status of recruitment of tenants
  • Assist in administrative works and receiving applications by phone
  •  Assist in preparing the processing document of cash advance, settlement and reimbursement
  • To communicate, coordinate with other departments and officials on recruitment related matters
  •  Provide ideas, advice and support to facilitate recruitment for the tenants
  • Evaluate feedback on surrounding PPSEZ dormitory, canteen, on wages and benefits
  • Assist in organizing the job fairs
  • Other tasks are assigned by superior 

III. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Graduated High School or BBA in Management or Human Resources is preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of Human Resources or related field
  • Basic knowledge of Cambodia labor law is preferred
  • At least one year of experiences in recruitment (at Garment factory is preferable)
  • Be able use English in writing, speaking and reading
  • Good organizational and planning skill
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Words & Excels, Outlook and Power Point)
  • Must be honest, committed, accountable and able to work in a team 

Relationships

Internal: The incumbent is required to collaborate with managers/staff in all departments to achieve the company’s business objectives by driving appropriate HR strategies and policies.

External: The incumbent is also required to maintain close contact with recruitment agencies, educational institutions and the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training.
